anyone buy this top yet. if so plse post some photos of the top in its various stages of assembly thanks keep on jeepin

 

I have the regular trektop and like it. I would imagine the NX top would be great since you can remove the windows unlike the older style only can remove rear window. I personally dont like the big bulky surrounds when compared to the metal frame bestop was using. but the factory style header bar might be better now on the new one.

 

I can't even find where to buy it, any suggestions? I see it on the Bestop website but when I go to any of the on-line distributers, they do not seem to show it. They only seem to have the orginal version.

I love the look of my Trektop just hate how much wind noise their crappy header has. I bet the new factory style header ad door surrounds will make a big difference. Maybe I can sell my old one and buy the new one. Can't wait to see pics on peoples JK's.

 

Not the Trektop NX, but I called Bestop about the Supertop NX for the JKU on Friday... They said it would be available at the beginning of March.

 

I sold my Trektop a couple of months ago when this new version was announced. I hope they don't delay releasing it. I don't want to be without a soft top for spring & summer.

 

So what's the difference between a Trektop and a Trektop NX?

 

With the current version you can only remove the back window. The side windows are permanently affixed. With the Trektop NX the side windows come out too so you can run it like a safari/bikini top. The header & other hardware is also different.

 

Ah.. That would be much nicer!
