Trek Top NX Calapsing

Trek Top NX Calapsing
I have 07 JK 2 door, the Trek Top NX will calapse in the rear when the sides and back are off. This is the 2nd one they sent me. The support bar will just make its way to one side and then she comes down...pictures attached. Any thoughts?

I have an Idea
get a couple straps like the ones in the photos (I get them from REI) and use them to pull the rear strap over to the roll bar making it tighter. I believe this would pull the support into the rool bars and secure it better.
I have the same top but just removed it to run with my mess top for a while.
I use these straps alot.. the black one is helping hold down the mess top better.... it's attached thru a loop...
