Default Trektop (Back)Orderd

Finally found the bones to order a Trektop for the JK and -- BLERG! -- it's backordered from Quadratec. Hopefully it will arrive in time for my early-June expedition to Big Bend NP.

For those to whom this has happened, does QT usually get backordered items back in stock quickly? I'm sure spring/summer is prime season for buying soft tops!

So why not order it from someone who has it available?

Get them to double check. I ordered mine from them last week. They are giving away a free tire cover with the top right now & when he first entered my order he said they were out of stock then he looked again & they were out of the ones with the free tire cover. I didn't want the tire cover anyway. They had some in stock without the tire cover. They very well could be out of stock by now though but it's worth a try. I ordered mine last Wed afternoon & got it yesterday.

By the way, I had them do a price match against 4wheelonline.com & got it for $571...including shipping.

Good luck!

Thats exactly what happened to me. They are back ordered on the tire cover. If you call them tell them you want it shipped in separate orders and the Trektop shouldn't be back ordered. The Tire Cover came about a month later. Ordered the top March 10th, got it say the 15th. Got the tire cover early April

Apparently they're getting another shipment from Bestop early next week (more revisions?). That fits my needs just fine since I don't need it until early June. The free spare tire cover is nice and their current sale price is competitive even with their (crazy high) shipping fees. Customer service was great, too.

Make sure you let the Trektop sit outside in the sun for a good 4 hours before attempting to install it. It needs to "stretch" before you install it, makes it so much easier. Just a little info

Customer service from Quadratec right? Cause I broke my J-Channel and tried to contact Bestop and they sucked. Quadratec actually ordered the part from them for me and shipped it to me. Props to them

^Same here. I'm debating whether the back of the top is easy to roll down. I know about the front but my concern is that if I want to open up the whole cab, would it be easy enough to do so? Like taking off the windows and then roll em down?
