Default Trektop NX

Ive looked around for this and couldnt really find it....I have a fairly simple question, can the trektop NX, fold down like the factory soft top? or does the front half just flip back exposing the front seats like the freedom top does? Thanks.

Looks like just the front half flips back. Which is a big disappointment for me!

From what I've read in a couple of posts, the front just flips back like a sunrider style soft top. The rear section is three pieces so in essence it's like a sunrider safari top but it doesn't fold down all the way like the OEM soft top.

Nope because the rear windows are completely removable creating a bikini top.

Oh wait...the trektop is the one with the angle in the back instead of the normal softop look on the JK right? Me no likey that one. LOoks like the Supertop NX would be the one for me.

While in Moab for EJS I talked with Bestop and they had the trektop nx on display. I had a chance on checkiing it out and it was able to fold back and expose part of the rear seating on a JKU! Also my last email to them last week indicated the trektop nx will start shipping at the beginning of july!

They posted the install instructions which I am taking as a good sign, they are set to leave Bestop for the distributers on June 20th according to Geoff. According to 4WD mine will be shipping first week of July
