Default trektop nx doesn't fit!

Spent a few hours in 100+ degrees installing my new Trektop NX just to have it not buckle to the header! It's almost a half inch shy of closing. What do I do now?! Old top is completely removed and we're looking at rain tomorrow.

There may be some info towards the end of this thread that will help.

Clip the front, but don't latch. Than do the back, then latch.

attach your header first but dont tighten it down leave it loose then start putting the rest of it on, also make sure you have the right door surrounds properly placed on. once it goes on after a week it will stretch alittle.

Everybody's had the same difficulty. I like the idea posted above to hook, don't latch, attach the back, then latch.

I took a different approach. See my post

Hang in there. The next day the thing was tight, but easy to open and close. It's a great top.
