Default Trektop NX HELP

I bought the trektop nx a couple months ago and love the looks. But when I drive at highway speeds the header is really loud and the whole thing fills with air. I tried using some weather strips to seal it but it only helped a little. I need some help quieting this thing down! It fills with air And goes about 1.5 inches above the bows. What do I do?

So is the top itself not tight around the soft top frame ? My trek top came with a support that went across to make it even tighter and sealed off from wind. If the bolts and everything aren't lined up right holding the top on it won't be tight. Also the trek top had the lock feature with the pins on the side. If the pins weren't pushed through it would definitely be loose. Double check everything.

Just checked. All tight and yeah it's not tight onto the support bar. It's saggy in the middle and that part fills with air. I have messed with the springs too and didn't help. It's like the top just won't get tight at all. Hmmm.

I'd say what you describe as "filling with air" actually is the suction of the air passing over your top. So that's normal that it lifts your top.

Alright cool. That part is not so bad it's more the noise from the header that makes it irritating. There's a decent size vertical gap on both driver and passenger side where the header meets the vehicle. Any way to cinch it down? I've tried pushing down on it and tightening but no luck.

Well, have that wind noise too but didn't care too much about it. So I never looked for a way to make it stop.
Oh, and I don't think you can do anything about it by sealing stuff. As I said i have that noise too but no air comin' in at all, so that noise must come from the outside. I've seen some deflectors that mount to the upper windshield frame....maybe these would help.

Yeah it shouldn't be saggy in the middle at all. Their should be adjustment pins near the back part. Pull those to a tighter setting/hole. Should be one on each side. Are you locking in the plastic weather seals that click on the outside edges above the door ? I know when I had mine I had to use force to pull those 2 locking handles down above the windshield. If your problem persists call bestop and explain what's going on. They have a good warranty and its possible it could be made wrong. If all your support bars are locked forward and you've tightened the adjustments something could be made wrong.

this is the NX and not the original trektop you are talking about correct? something is either loose or leaking at a spot. make sure your rear door surround channels are pushed in all the way up to the top of the C pillar-door surround.
just curious, did u but this used or new?
