Default Trektop NX tailgate bar

Does anyone have a link to a write up on how this piece works? I've gotten everything but this on and can't figure out how the back window attaches to it

It slides onto the bottom of the rear window.

And to make it easier to clip to the tub, open the sunrider, clip, zip it all up then close the sunrider.

What kind of tailgate bar do you have? There are 2 styles. A 1 piece style. And the stock like 3 piece style.

If you have the 1 piece, I recommend you order the 3 piece. The 3 piece is much more functional.

I have the 1 piece. I may eventually get the 3 piece but I dont think I'll be needing to take it off very often

Once it streches a bit you can actually leave the tailgate bar on and slide the window in and out from the side(Haven't tried this in colder months, but works easily in the summer.)

The bar was easy to get on it seemed like without the window attached so I'd think when it's all stretched out it wouldn't be bad.

Right now I have one side clipped in and I can't with all my might get the other one

That's why it is easier to get the other bar setup. The 1 piece sucks. It is a bad design. My first NX had the 1 piece. I had to replace the top for warranty work and it came with the 3 piece design. It's a world of difference.

I didn't get into my back very often either, but now that I have the new bar, I find myself back there more.

Thanks for the info. The NX top is my next major purchase.
