We bought a Trektop NX twill for our 2013 JKU Rubicon. My wife was attempting to close the convertible top when she noticed the top seemed to be bowed on the driver side. Upon closer inspections she found that the molded header panel was cracked in 2 places around the latch. See attached pics. Any ideas what has caused this? Will Bestop warranty it since it is less than 6 months old was cost a bucket load of money?

 

I had something similar happen to my trektop NX. I had it for about 9 months. Header bar cracked and came un latched at the driver side doing 80 on the freeway. I took it back to the place I bought it. The dealer called best top and made all the arrangements for a swap with a new one. I think they will cover it for you. Good luck.
