Default Trektop questions

Wanting to pull the trigger on a new Bestop Trektop- love the look. However, I have read some old posts and other reviews talking about a few problems:
1. water pooling
2. glued velcro rear gate attachment (not very secure)
3. awkward rear window attachment

I have read that Bestop was planning on making some enhancements to improve this, but have they (or are they)? Anybody have any updated info?

Thanks for any help

So, it's been discussed, but briefly
1. More straps to make it tighter for less pooling
2. You can upgrade to a bar that the velcro attaches to so you don't have to unlatch it to open the tailgate, however, the velcro has held up for the people who have it so far
3. Not sure what you're talking about here, unless I answered it with number 2.

could you use the stock rear window bar to attach the velcro to? It seems like that could be an easy mod and a great solution.

Concerning the window...maybe I misunderstood a post. Someone had said that they didnt like the way the rear window was designed, and the new ones were different. Maybe I'm dreaming.

I guess the bottom line is that they fixed the puddling/leaking issue, which was my main concern.
