Default Trimming the LCA axle mount?

Has anyone ever heard of trimming the LCA axle mount to adjust the caster for a 2.5" lift? I was talking to a RC dealer and he said instead of buying new LCAs I can trim the mount and it allows you to adjust the caster. Not as much as might be needed for a 4" but enough for my 2.5" BB. Has anyone out there done this or heard of this? He is supposed to send me some info on how it is done. He said he would be more than happy to sell me the LCAs but that is overkill for such a small lift. Any advice would be great.

He's talking about notching the mounts and installing cambolts. Getting adj LCA.s is better.

Ok. Thanks. I figured it would probably be easier to do the LCAs anyways and that way when I get a bigger lift I already have them.
