Default True tire sizes

I need help picking a 35" tire.I dont want a small 35... I was going to go with the mtr until I read about all the problems they have, then I started looking at the BFG km2 but they run small compared to TOYO and MTR . What about BFG Krawlers can give the actual size on these. I would like to run bfg Is there A metric size km2 that would be closer to the 35 height?

Krawlers are very soft and won't last long on the street. Not sure about their size

They really need to be mounted, inflated and have some weight on them to find out the real rolling diameter.

I had the same exact struggle you did about KM2, MTR K, Toyo and Trail Grappler. I liked the KM2's but heard they ran small, and also liked the MTR K but read about the balancing issue... I had decided against the Toyo / Nitto due to weight since I didn't want to re gear my stock Rubi.

I ended up rolling the dice on the MTR K's because I loved the look of the tread, they were very true to size, lower weight than Toyo and Nitto, and I heard they were very good off road in a variety of different terrain.

The tire guy assured me that although they take some weight to balance it can be done with the right equipment. He also said alloy wheels will help keep the tire balanced vs steel that can bend when wheeled hard over time.

I am by no means an expert but am very happy with my decision. The tires ride great on road at all speeds and I love the look! They ended up measuring out to just shy of 34.5"

I also went with MTRs (37s) and I am more than happy so far. They measure very close to true 37. No issues with balancing at all

My 315/70/17 Duratracs measure 33 3/4" mounted with the weight of the Jeep on them.
