I run spidertrax spacers and have about 6000 miles on them with no probs. I did use the supplied loc-tite and check and re-check and re-checked the tourque and none of the nuts have ever loosened. Spacers should last a lifetime if you buy good quality, be carefull of the cheep ass ones that you have to cut your studs and the studs on the spacer are smaller than factory...Get quality spacers and you will be fine. Teraflex i heard makes a nice spacer as well

well thats good im glasd to hear that there not new they are tried and true

the main part i think i would be the most nervous part is the maintenece ie checking torque

should i run spacers on my stock 17s or get some some 16s and new tires

the 17s are like 30 bucks more when comparing 16 to 17
idk i would spend prolly an extra 125 or so on rims

its either 200 for spacers or 325 for new rims

they are the 997 series rims by black rock so idk

Spidertrax on mine for over 20,000 miles, no probs. Just checked torque every tire rotation.

I had HORRIBLE luck with the Black Rock rims. Go with spacers or different rims than the black rock 997s in my opinion. Search for black rock 997 for a thread about mine.
