Default TRXUS MTs?

Any opinions on these tires? Specifically, how quiet on the road, and how they work on snow/mud/rocks.

I have a set of 33x12.5x18 on my F350 and I enjoy them, over 35k and they're wearing well, ride fine and they aren't extremly noisy. They are great in mud, decent in snow, deadly on ice and I have no idea about rocks.

I've been running them on my TJ for several years now and love them. They are pretty quite for a mudder, have great grip on the rocks, clean mud out of the tread well, the siped lugs help them to grip on wet surfaces, I've had no problems with them in snow and they have super tough sidewalls that can take a beating on the rocks. The only real drawbacks to them is that they are hard to balance and wear out relatively quickly (35,000 miles).

LOL!! That would make a difference now wouldn't it

One other thing I should mention is that you really should rotate these tires at about every 3,000 miles. This is something you should do with most mud terrains as it will help keep them quite on pavement.

How does the sound compare to the Toyo or BFG MTs (these are what I am most familiar with)?

They are about the same as them.

I have put about 15,000 miles on a set of 35's on a TJ in Alaska. They have been excellent in snow and on ice. I think they are a good daily driver tire and are capable of handeling most moderate wheeling.

By deadly do you mean good or bad?

I'm gonna guess he means that in a bad way as most mudders suck on ice. But, of all the mudders I have run, I personally think that the TrXus are one of the better on ice. At least, a lot better than something like a BFG M/T.
