Default Trying to determine maximum rim width for tire

I have Mickey Thompson MTZ 285/70/17 tires on stock Rubicon rims (I think these are 7.5" wide?).

How do i figure out how wide of a rim I can go up to if I were to upgrade to different rims? Update: ANSWERED

NEW QUESTION:

According to Mickey Thompson's website, an appropriate rim is 7.5"-9.5" with "meas. rim" of 9". Not sure what meas. rim means.

Anyhow, the stock Rubi rim is 7.5" wide. Can anyone tell me what a tire looks like with a wider rim if I were to go up to 9.5"? Would it make the tire appear wider than it would currently with the 7.5" rim?

Thanks for the help!

If all else fails, Tire Rack has all the spec's listed for tires of different size/makes.

That would have only made logical sense. No idea why I never checked that first... Thanks!
