There's lot's to consider above and beyond the answers found in the above link (which is a GREAT start).

Consider the following question/answer:

Q: What is the biggest size tire that I can fit with a 4" Lift?
A: 37" tires but you will need to trim the rear corner of the rocker pinch seam and you may still experience some minor rubbing at a full flex.

While this is true, it doesn't take into account other options such as a smaller lift, with a body lift, trimmed fenders & extended bump stops, which gives you a lower centre of gravity, but still allows you to run 37" tires.

Spend a bit of time searching the forum..... read a ton, ask questions and read some more.

Good points. I lifted my old TJ in the same fashion (max tire size for the lift) and was pleased but definitely should have done a bit more research. The SuperLift 4" claims 37's with minimal if any trimming and stock Control Arms/Drive Shafts/Pittman Arm, etc ("everything you need is in the kit to run 37's" is what the SuperLift Tech told me). The thing is, it all depends on what you'll be doing with the Jeep. If you plan on wheeling it hard, you may regret even doing a 4" kit instead of a 5-6". If you plan on sticking to the center of the trail (not beating on it too hard) or really not wheeling much at all, a 4" SuperLift just might be all you need. Now, I'm saying "SuperLift" because they're the only ones that I've found that advertise 37's and not just 35's on their 4" kit. That said, some other 4" kits out there might get you to the 37's point alone or with a minor body lift or extended bump stops as BryGuy mentioned.

4" teraflex lift will fit 37s...

i believe if you use flat fenders, you can fit them with a 3" lift and a few other tweaks here and there (bumpstops, etc.)

You can fit 37's with the 3" with stock fenders. Extra bumpstop are helpful.

I suggest a teraflex 6" welded long arm kit, drive shafts, front, 2 1/2" king front coil over shocks, 2 1/2" king rear shocks, or king bumpstops, maybe some flat fenders from bushwacker, and regear it to 4.88. The king shocks might be a tad bit of over kill, but will be amazing lol.
