Default Tube Door Tether?

Just put my new Warrior doors on my 4-Rubi and quickly noticed that the doors need to be tethered. They swing all the way open and hit my relocated mirror bracket. The rear tube doors also swing all the way open and I can see my kids not paying attention and throwing them open too hard.

An easy fix would be some kind of tether that attaches to the jeeps attachment point and then to the door some how.

Anyone have any cool fixes for this or maybe know of a tether on the market?

Thanks,

Kes

In the military we would use 550 cord for that. But i would think a short length of high grade cord would do it for you.

I was just thinking about this today when I was messing around in the Jeep.

Hmm.... I just went out with some strap, and because of the design of my doors, it will be harder than I thought.

Gonna have to think on this a bit....

No, they are attached to the full door.

See how much attention I've paid to that? I'm putting some on in the next few days now you've given me something to think about.

My doors are odd in that there is no bar in the hinge side so a strap just wrapping around one of the bars would just slide to the hinge and be useless.

I think I am going to have to drill into the lower bar and screw the strap in place in order for it to work.

I'll post pictures once I have it done.

Warrior makes limiting straps specifically for these doors. I think Quadratec sells them for like $12.99. I bought some similar straps at Walmart for $1.99....I'm makin my own.
