I have a Tuffy console insert, and generally I love it, but if I push down on it, or even rest my arm on it, it rattles. I think there's some play in the latching mechanism. Does anyone else have this problem? Anybody fix it? I was thinking of throwing some extra weather stripping in there, to see if that fixed it, but wanted to check with the experts.

 

You could try the weather stripping or give Tuffy a call they seem to have super customer service and I am sure would be willing to help if possible.
