Default Tuffy Security question

I just ordered the Tuffy Security enclosure. It appears relatively straightforward to install. My question is whether this install is permanent. Once installed, leave it be...or, can you take it out in Winter months and reinstall in Spring

Easy install. You can make it more permanent, but in general it is quite easy to remove entirely, and even easier to selectively remove the top or backing.

You should be very pleased -- most of us are!

I don't know what year yours is but on my '10 it's super easy to remove/reinstall. Usually when I pull mine out I only take the top off which just takes a few seconds. If I have to remove the front panel another 2mins maybe. I love mine, having secure storage and a shelf in the back to store things on is great.

The Tuffy deck fits a 2 door with the rear seat removed.

Or, if you have a 2011+,

I love my tuffy deck - drive around Houston with now worries that some is going to do a quick reach and grab on my stuff. I easily removed it at a store when I needed some quick cargo space. Best money spent so far.

Thanks for this. I was thinking it wouldn't work with my dog who rides in the jeep periodically. Now that I know the top can be removed I can add it to the never-ending list!

I had the Security deck in my 2 door, did not feel it was to secure with just two standard 1/2" bolts on top of the tub holdiing the whole thing in! I modified mine to make it more secure. Then got a dog so had to make more room and got a DeeZee tool box. OH, I don't use the back seat!
