Default Tuning CB Antenna

Okay, I'm at a loss here and I'm not finding anything on the information super highway on this one...

I'm tuning my antenna and on Channel 1, I get 1.5, which I'm happy about. On Channel 40, I get 0. Seriously, 0. Now, in theory the lower the number the better, however this just doesn't seem right to me. Thoughts or am I currently one of the lucky Wrangler owners that has an awesomely grounded CB antenna?

Wish I could help but there's a sub forum on here labeled CBs and HAMs that you'd be better served asking your question there.

Something is wrong with the tuner or the radio. You will always get feedback. If you are not then you are not transmitting or the tuner is broken. See if someone can pick you up on 40. If they can, chances are is the tuner.
