Default Tweaked Steering

Hi all,

So, a few week after getting my Jeep's steering aligned, I did some light off-roading on our property. Driving through tall blackberry stands and crushing tree saplings, ( I was doing recon for a hired excavator) my steering wheel is turned to the right, while going straight down the road. The steering wheel turns easier to the right than the left now too. I think I might have tweaked my tie-rods on the thick brush. You think?

yeah, you more than likely bent your tie-rod a bit. this is a common problem on the jk. you might want to make sure that your steering stabilizer is still clearing the axle mount okay and if it is, just reset your toe and your steering should be on again.

Thanks WOL,

I called Dave at Northridge after I posted this and he pretty much suggested too that it might be the rod. Strangely, I'm not getting any ESP warnings while driving at speed, and there is no obvious damage. I heard there might be some A.M. tie rods coming out, so I may wait to repair it and just upgrade to a stronger set up. But in the mean time I will do what you suggested. Thanks!
