Default Wd40

WD40 helped me get the residue off and then followed it with rubbing alcohol.
Then a good coat of wax.

not sure if you can get it where you are from, but there is a product called Acrysol, removes glue and other contaminants on paint.
Local auto part store may have it!

i used adhesive remover from auto parts store. also picked up some microfiber cloth. sprayed on and left for a minute or two. buff with cloth.
just keep buffing with remover and cloth. yes it will take some elbow grease but no damage to paint.
nice wash in the area, and youre good to go..
