Default Undercoating questions

So I did my lift the other day and while under the truck I noticed how much rust is already showing. Which concerns me being in a salt heavy half the year area. I want to clean and brush and then coat the underside. Any suggestions for good products? Also I had to cut the frame corners to make sure the 37s never touch em and I'm also looking for a good product to cover those cuts

Look into fluid film. Not really a perm coating but works well.

I see alot of people on forums using bedliner, just be sure to take off the parts you want to get both sides of and prep them like they are the bed of a truck. the bedliner itself comes in spray cans, or liquid for rollers/brushing. follow the directions and youll have a tough anti rust barrier that can take some abuse.

I've heard of this stuff being good. Apparently it can be painted right on top of the rust.

This old farmer I know has a old Bronco from the early eighties and it's spotless underneath and I asked him why is it so clean. He said he makes his own remedy of old motor oil thinned out and sprays it under vehicle every winter

It's a used oil and diesel mix. Make it just thin enough to spray through a pump sprayer, the kind for spraying round up on weeds. Wear safety googles when spraying and park over something you don't mind it dripping on.

Wow ... Great.

Fluid film does not spin off moving parts either. My front driveshaft is coated and still coated. Amazing stuff !!

Exactly...I apply it once in Spring and once in Fall.
Sometimes I'll touch up suspension parts periodically but the underside of the body I sprayed with the shutz gun is still thick and that was put.on two years ago.

Great stuff for sure
