Never had a Tuffy, so I can't compare. I ordered the BestTop of Amazon for WAY cheaper than the Tuffy!

Lock can be finicky, but it works fine. It holds my XDM .45, pancack holster, GPS, and 2 fully loaded spare magazines.

Not sure what I would think of a combo lock? I have had to open mine while sitting in the driver seat to store / retireve "items". Makes you less of a target securing a weapon while inside the vehicle than standing outside trying to dial in the number to open it.

Just ordered a Tuffy... FYI they are on back order so you need to find a distributer with some in stock

I have the besttop and never had a problem with it, but I've look at the tuffy ones and they're a lot better all around. Just don't tell my wife because she bought it for me!!

Price-best top
All around, minus price- tuffy

Tuffy 100%. Don't skimp. Bestop lacks in all areas. Yea the price is sweet but that's it. Love my tuffy products.

With the combo lock I just turn one of the three tumblers left/right one click by feel to lock, then back again to unlock. Any thief will just lock it more securely if they start turning it. The nice thing with the combo lock is the round knob allows you to twist to secure the drawer shut without locking it. This is nice because here's my routine: get in Jeep and close door - reach down and turn my chosen tumbler one notch - open and remove firearm - close drawer and twist lock to keep drawer closed (but unlocked) - arrive at destination and twist to open - return weapon - turn selected tumbler one notch to lock.

I can't use any of them. They don't make any for my 2011 JK with the easy access seat for the drivers side or passengers side.

Tuffy and Bestop drawers side by side.
I like the way the Bestop box looks and is made its very solid, but I don't like the way it locks.
I will be installing the Tuffy I like the way it locks and how far the drawer opens. once the tuffy gets bolted down its not going anywhere.
