According to the tire calculator, that is a 32.6" tire. The way to figure it is pretty simple, you take the first number, that is the width of the tire in milimeters. The second number, 65, is the percentage of the first number, that is the heighth of the sidewall. The third number is your rim size. Now ask me to convert milimeters to inches . Or just google tire calculator and plug in the numbers.

or you can type "305mm in inches" into Google & it'll convert it for you! Then at least you'll know how wide it is...

305 is the tire width in millimeters
65 is the percentage of width that the sidewall is
17 is the rim size

There are 25.4 millimeters in 1 inch.

305 divided by 25.4 = 12.007 inches wide
65 percent of 305 is 198.25
Multiply 198.25 X 2 to account for the sidewall on both sides of the rim
198.25 X 2 = 396.5.
Divide 396.5 by 25.4 to convert to inches, which = 15.61
Add 15.61 (total sidewall) to 17 (rim height) to get tire height of 32.61"

So, a 305/65R17 is a 32.61" tall by 12.007" wide tire with a 17" rim. The R stands for radial by the way.

Or you could just do what the others have said and do a google search for tire size calculator.
