Is the Unichip "locked" so only Unichip techs can log and change data, or can I plug strait away into it with my Laptop and start logging Data and customizing my Tune?

 

I believe the Unichip is also available with tunable software that works on a Bluetooth enabled, Windows based PDA.

 

Ja I have software you will be reading about it in the near future I will be posting some performance info and what the software is who you can get it from ect BUT I have to get home first hehe. In March- ish I will have some data and I will get with the Admins so I can post and tell all the JKers about it. I found the Turbo I want it makes boost from 1200ish to 5700ish I plan on running 8-10pounds and all the tuning will be done by us, that’s why I need a chip that is not locked. I know there are many out there but I wanted to run the Unichip then tune it with #%@$&*^% and see if there is a reason for me to talk about it. You can send the chip to HESCO et al but they tune on their vehicle and that will get you close BUT unless you live in the same region and drive that Jeep it will still be off. Then lets say you wanna move to the mountains... another tune. I may only get ten more HP and ten more Ftlb BUT Hey that is that much more. Then when I strap on the Turbo I will have to tune again, then the tuner you send it to will have to get the same turbo ect blablabla. SO
