Default Up Graded Front Axel

I upgraded my front axel to a used Rubicon 44 axel. My jeep is a 08 JKU and my question is since I upgraded my streering is not the same. Should it feel way different from my original D 30 axel. When on the expressway I'm all over the road. Like I have lots of play in the steering. Any help would be appreciated.

Are both axles stock? No new brackets welded on or anything?

More than likely the alignment is off and possible a bad tie rid if you didn't reuse yours. Other possibility is worn upper control arm joints and you just got careless during the install and something isn't right.

Yes, both are stock and no new brackets welded or anything else.

Had alignment done and it drives straight and put new ball joints, tie rod will recheck all and will look at control arm.
