Default Upgrade of Stock Tires

I realize this topic has been covered numerous times but still struggling with a decision. I purchased a new JK with the 17" GY tires and would like to upgrade to better A/T's without lifting or using spacers. Jeep mainly will be on road with some modest offroading (85%/15%) so no real need for MT's.
Also, would like a more aggressive tire as the all season GY's do look a little out of place on the vehicle. I do know 285's will rub and suspect 265's will marginally get by. Any others go with a 265 A/T and if so, which one? Anybody move to the GY Silent Armor tire ? (which does come in a 255/75/17 size)
Would appreciate any thoughts.
Thanks
