Upgrade Without Lifting - Need Help
I am very interested in upgrading my 2010 Sahara without lifting it. Would like to know what components are the best upgrades to make to the front end, suspension, etc over stock without lifting or increasing my chances of death wobble.
I'm a newb here, but I've got a similar plan ( at least stage 1). A good set of tires would be first on the list. I got a set of Rubicon take offs for a good price. Moving to the 17 inch rims gives you more sidewall to work with and a better selection of tires.
Next on my list is a set of Bilstien shocks. The HD shocks are designed for stock height, with occasional off road use, while still maintaining a good ride on the street. I'm a big bilstien fan. High pressure gas shocks are the way to go.
Then if you want to off road it, I'd look at some good rocker protection, and then possibly an after market skid plate setup that can gain you more ground clearance.
If you are willing to add a small leveling kit you can move up to 33 inch tires.

Thanks guys and sorry for not being specific. As I am new to all of this and as I read through the great info on the forums, it came clear to me that the stock suspension (swaybar, shocks, etc) are not the greatest. I did upgrade the wheels by getting rid of the 18"s and Dueler AT and upgraded by adding 17"s and slightly larger and wider Revo II's - very comfortable ride with this alone. So, now I wondered if there is anything I can change underneath that can solidify my ride and provide better handling. Also, I have seen threads discussing death wobble on stock JK's - I was shocked to hear about this and wondered what changes I can make to the suspension and anything else underneath to absolutely prevent this. Again, thanks for all the help.
