Default Upgrading a BB?

Question for you experts out there - Say I was to get a 2.5" TF BB kit and run it for a year or so. If I decided I wanted a full spring kit at that time, could I get away with buying four of the yet to be released TF 2.5" springs and just pulling the pucks and slapping in springs?

Or... if I decided I wanted to... could I just use whatever springs intrigue me at the time? (i.e. FT, OME, etd.?)

I am starting to think this might be the easiest way to get a feel for how tall of springs I want, and allows me to spread out the funds for other things such as new tires.

Thanks in advance!

I had a 2.5" TeraFlex BB , ran it for a year-and-a-half, then swapped out the pucks for some springs....

Thats kinda what Im doing.

I used the Tera BB for awhile until I had the cash to upgrade the front. I did 3" coils, adj arms and a trackbar all at once, so Im not sure how it would be adding piece by piece.

Eventually I'll upgrade the rear too, but my current setup works really well

Or you could get the Rusty's 2" basic coil spring kit for $349 and get about 3" up front and 2.5" at the back. It includes shocks and rides pretty well. I have it on mine, if you want to check it out I will be at the OJT Meet and Greet on the 13th at Hooters.

Hm... I hadn't seen the Rusty's kit, so I looked it up online. Did it come with any bump stops or anything like that? Did you get the steering stabilizer?

You going to take your JK on the ramp at the meet-n-greet? I'm kinda curious how my stocker will do. Then I can measure the progress going forward...
