Default Upgrading Lift ?

I'm currently running a 4 inch pro comp suspension lift on my 07 jeep jk 2 Dr. I'm also running 35" tired without any problems. Got a good deal on some 37" runs and tires and was looking to upgrade my lift to run these tires. Not sure what I'd have to do to clear these. Would squeezing a small body lift and doing the driveshafts be fine ? Or better to upgrade the entire lift to a 6 inch ?

Maybe flat fenders, 4" I would think is enough....

Many people who I read about here running 37s are doing it with 2.5-3" of lift and flat flares. The argument against 6" and sometimes even 4" is the extra cost to upgrade steering and other stuff that comes along with that. Based on everything I've read and learned 4" is enough and maybe add flat flares if you rub. Another thing to consider is upgrading your front axle: gussets, truss, sleeves, ball joints.

Stuff the tires until the bumpstops are mashed together, get out, and measure...

If for some reason there is not enough clearance to run the 37's with a 4" lift and flats, consider adding taller bumpstops rather than adding more lift. You will also need lower backspace than with the 35's.

bumpstops will need to be check and probably changed. Depending on what backspacing you have now that might need to be changed so you don't rub at full lock.

Edit: Oops just saw the above post. So x2 what he said.
