Default Upgrading Teraflex BB?

Hey guys, just looking for a little guidance. I have the Teraflex BB and I love it, but the time will come soon, when it is time to upgrade. Is it worth it to just start adding to the BB, (coils, trackbars, control arms etc..) or should I just go with a whole new kit and try to sell the BB?

I have seen some other companies have specific upgrade kits just for this purpose, but havent seen it from Teraflex.

I am new to the forum and relatively new to modding the jeep, so I am just looking to get some opinions and any advice.
Thanks in advance!

If you have the cash to do it all at once than I'd upgrade at once and sell the BB. If it were me and cash was tight (like it is lol) I'd upgrade piece by piece. You get the same end result and could still sell the bb. Plus you'll always have something to work on and could cherry pick the best parts to make the lift that fits your driving/off road style.

x2 on that. It can be easier to sell a complete used kit than a partial. On the flip side, you could swap in 2.5" coils f/r and use everything else that came with the BB kit. How much of a upgrade are you trying to do?

yeah that is what I was thinking. Just add some coils and I pretty much have the teraflex 2.5" coil kit. (Will I gain anymore height adding the coils?) But then it's always "hey maybe I want to go taller." I think the tallest I would ever go would be 3.5-4" total (still have to use as a daily driver, and the wife is pretty tiny)

So I guess the better question is how to accomplish this when it comes time?? Do I add to the BB that I have now? Add a body lift? Or sell the whole thing and start over?

Just throwing some things out there to spark some convos. Love the forum by the way, I have learned a ton, just from reading all the posts! And actually used the write-ups from Project JK to install the BB, and change all the fluids!!

X2... I've had my TF BB for 3 weeks and I want to go bigger. Add the 2.5 TF coil lift to get 5" +/- overall? Probably need new driveshaft and a few other parts???

Emiles.. it looks like we pretty much have the same exact jeep and build going! I like your 35's though. Yeah I was just wondering if anyone has any insight on if adding the coils will give me any height, becasue if they gave me another 1/2", I am pretty sure I could live with a 3" lift right now.

And then in the future, do I do a body lift in addition? Or do I just get rid of the whole kit and start over with a different kit to get higher. The thing with getting a different kit (RC 3.5") is that I can get other parts with it (control arms), but at the same time I could just add parts to this kit piece-meal style.....decisions, decisions

I'm going with a RC 1.25 Body Lift next, but I think I will still want more... I'd love to get away with an additional 2.5" coil lift for around $500-$600 tho...

I have the same kit and same question basically.. What would be the best and cheapest way to get a little more lift on top of 2.5?
