Default Upsize to 35's

Ive got an 07 JK with 65k miles on it. It's my daily driver and weekend camping cruiser. I've had death wobble b4 and it was corrected. Now the wobble is back and I'm replacing 3 tie rod ends, doing the brakes and shocks. I've got 33" maxis buckshot mudders on it. 1 of the tires is bad and I'm contemplating upsizing to 35" nitto trail grapplers. I'm not crazy about spending another $1500 + the cost of a lift to fit them but I've not been happy with the Maxxis tires on the jk. What benefits / drawbacks would I encounter going with the 35" Nitto's? Another option is to go w/33" trail grapplers w/no lift.

What was the cause of the original death wobble? How did you fix it the first time?

They replaced 1 tie rod end and the steering box( I think). Worked great til the other tie rods wore out.

Upgrading to 35's will increase the wear on your suspension components so death wobble may return quicker.
If I didn't want to add a lift, I'd try some different 33's. What don't you like about the current tires?

Yes things will wear quicker with 35's but after 50,000km on my JK i havent had anything fail yet. 35" toyo mt's. I getting front 30 sleeved/gussets/ball joints done soon and well as a new HD tie rod. Only to upgrade for wheeling. Get it fixed and you will be good for awhile. I wheel moderately and see moderate DD as well.
