Default Urgent: Please help: Is this normal?!?!

So just recieved the final 4 wheels/tires for my truck and unlike the 1st one that arrived, the mount/balance weights on these 4 are extensive and visible A LOT from the front on 2 of the wheels.

Can someone please tell me if this is normal before I put them on the car, which I planned on doing tonight. Should the weights be more black then this, the tops are black but the sides are silver and contrast greatly with the all black wheel. I bought these from discount tire direct. Is this something that a local shop can correct? Don't want them to screw up the finish taking them on/off etc. If this is correct, anyway to touch up the sides to make them black?

Thanks in advance!!

Weight placement seems normal. I'd just touch up the sides like you said.

PS: It's not a car.

man thats ALOT of weight - no new tires or wheels should require that much.

Id take 'em back or make them remount the tires (turn 'em 180* on the wheel) and see if they can reduct the weight required.

That IS a lot of weight, some tires have indicators as to where they mount in relation to the valve stem. Also on the new JKs the goverment mandated TPSs system, most tires require some weight directly across the wheel from the valve and the sensor but not that much.

They had to layer the weights on my wheels as well when i purchased the bfg km2 35". All 4 tires needed alot of weights. Was not happy about it but rides like silk. Took it to another place and they revalanced them and said that many weights is what it takes. Live with it.

P.S. i did not have the tire pressure sensors installed at that time. Just a basic stem.

It's a lot of weight but mine took a lot of weight as well. I took a black paint marker and colored the sides of them. If you don't feel confident than take them back and have them rotate the tire on the wheel 180 as suggested below.
