Not sure if this is the right place for this.....

I just bought a brand new 400P from Chris at JeepAddOns through this site. Chris was great, order received quickly, box was undamaged. Due to my travel schedule, I didn't have a chance to test it before going out yesterday.

Aired down, hit the trails, had a great time, then hooked up the 400P to the battery. Nothing. Nada. My dad hooked it to his Honda Pilot battery. Nothing. Nada. The unit was dead.

We tested the fuse and it was good, both vehicles were running when we tested to it couldn't have been due to battery drain. I'm not sure what else to look for.

Has anyone else seen this with a Viair? Thought I'd ask y'all in case there's something obvious I'm missing.

 

I've had mine since 2008 and never had issues. I don't use it as much as the JK has an ARB on it now but pack it around on the Rhino or for road trips with other vehicles. It fills tires quicker than the ARB under the hood though. If its not the fuse you must have got a bad one, I'd send it back. You shouldn't have any issues getting it replaced. Shitty time to find out it didn't work when you were aired down.

 

That is odd, and since it is a 400P, you already checked the one main thing it could be. Next, I would contact VIAIR regarding warranty. I have always had very good success with VIAIR's and our customers have been very happy as well.
