Hey gang,


Trying to install my viair 400 on my 2011 jk, and as per jk kit standards, no instructions...

I have a mounting bracket included in the kit, which goes between the engine and the ps fluid, but the bracket seems to not fit because of a protruding (coolant?) hose from the engine.

How the hell do they expect you to mount this? Anyone have experience with this?

I installed my viair in the same spot. If I remember correctly, the instructions I had said to zip tie the hose out of the way.

 

The bottom half of the hose is rigid... Metal. I'd have to bend it or something, and I imagine that's not a good idea?

 

I bent mine out of the way with no issues. Only moved it .5" or so. Mine's the 3.8, so if you have a 3.6 might be different
