Vibration at highway speeds..advice?
Newbie here,
I installed my teraflex BB lift and added my new wheels. I test drove them locally and everything was fine. Then I hit the highway....at high way speeds, 55 and up, there is a very noticeable vibration
. My buddy told me that it is probably a wheel that is not balance correctly. Later this week I am going to swap the spare with the one that I think is causing the vibration.
If this does not work...what do you suggest?

have them all re-balanced. there is no way to know which one is wrong just by looking (unless it looks like one of the weights has fallen off). all tires require different amounts of weight. there is even variation from tire to tire (even if the brand and size are all the same).
I am pretty sure I know which one it is, because I can limit it down by elimination. I have sat in both ides of the jeep at high speeds and it is definitely on the passenger side.
When driving I do not feel it in the steering wheel at all, so I will start with the rear. I cant take it to a shop during the week anyway, so trial and error is the way to go, no?

Did you check to make sure all of your lug nuts were tight after they did the work? Could also cause a vibration as it could also be widdling your lug stud threads
Not like I know from experience or anything though

It is definitely on one side of the jeep. If it was anything associated with the t-case wouldnt it be less isolated and more prominent?
