Have to go with tire balance, After wheelin I get the same thing espically after mud, it packs on the inside of the spokes on my stock RubyDoo rims. I goto a local discount tire and get great service all the time.

Edit; just looked on there country wide map and there are none in the northeast. Might try a Goodyear tire place.
