Default vibration, under pass front floor board

Not sure if this needs to go in mod or stock tech, but I have been experiencing a horrible vibration that sounds as if it is coming from under the pass front floorboard. Seems to be worse just before trans shifts. Wondering if anyone else has this issue or have already fixed it. I am running the teraflex exhaust spacers to clear a rk 2.5 max travel lift and have evo protec skid plates installed...

Any suggestions would be appreciated!

I just posted my vibration/rattle experience in another thread. In my case ('08 JKU) there is a ~14 ga. exhaust shield on the pax-to-driver crossover pipe where it runs under the trans. One of the corner welds had broken and at certain speeds/rpms the thing would buzz like a can full of BBs. It wouldn't rattle at all sitting still and just revving the engine, so it took a long time to find. Zapped it with the MIG and all is well.

If you are feeling the vibration (as opposed to just hearing it), then ignore everything I just said.

Nope that sounds about right, I hear it, but dont feel it. I know the exhaust is different on the 2 year models, but that will give me a place to start looking.... Thanks!

You can not run the teraflex spacers with the protek skids. The Spacers lower the exhaust into the exhaust skid. This is whats causing the noise.

You have a couple solutions, remove the spacers and install a 1310 after market driveshaft, which it really needs anyhow. Second would be to space the exhause skid down, (i would not want it lowered).
