Default vibration when i get up to 50 mph

I get a loud banging vibration from what seems like between the pass and driver seat. I'm wondering what the cause of something like this would be. My first guess what be new u joints or driveshaft. Anyone experience something like this?

Could be something with tranny or transfer case too, that's about the same spot...

Do you have a lift with stock driveshafts? Cv shafts are garbage with 3" lift or more.

I have a 4" lift/35's I get a noticeable vibration around 45mph. That's the only time it does it. Slow down speed up and it's gone. I need new driveshafts, but mine haven't failed me yet 22k miles.

That you know of. Take out the front shaft and take it for a spin and see if it goes away. If not then put front shaft back in and remove rear shaft and put transfer case in 4-hi. This will then give you front wheel drive and take for a spin again. This is assuming your TC is fine. Need to make sure it shifts between gears fine first.

I still say drive shaft, you can pull it as suggested and drive around if its gone (vibration) then swap it out.

Based on what I saw and putting it in 4wd and checking it I still say the culprit is the driveshaft, the joint was out 1/2" on it at diff end....pressed it back but still based on that I think the shaft took a grunt of the stuff as well....

If I remember its 4 15" bolt both ends.....mark the shaft how it came off with a marker on the flange and the connecting piece so it goes back exactly....

His lift height and shaft angle are fine on his, its from an hit the front end took out wheeling....

I have 4" lift and 2dr my shafts are fine, they will be getting swapped when I stretch it so till then I'll beat on em....buddy runs hammer trails 2 times a month 4+" lift 8" stretch 2dr 40s on Dana 44s and breakage does happen lol.....rcv front shaft broke at splines, bent flange on ten factory chromoly shaft but 4:10 gears and factory drive shaft still going even with damage....

Jeeps are a lot tougher than people think and there are a few finicky ones lol...
