viper throttle body
Is this mod worth it ? I have 4.88 gears manual 6spd 2010 jku mbrp exhaust volant intake which mounts up to the throttle body perfectly and superchips ?
I have a throttle body on my jeep and I would say do not do it. If you want to spend a little money do it but I have seen no performance difference. I wish I would have spent the money else where

Proof that it is worth it:
After installing a 2.5" lift and 35" tires, my auto with stock gears performed horribly at highway speeds(65 and above). Couldn't keep it in OD at 70 plus. Already had the typical mods done(cai, exhaust, tuner). In January I made a 5 hour trip on the expressway. Mileage was 15.5 mpg and continuous shifting in and out of OD. In early May I installed a Vipor throttle body just before making a 12 hour trip. Along the same strech of highway, I got 17.5 mpg, stayed in OD the entire time, and could even use cruise control.
You can get the Throttle body at Mopar Supercenter. (I think that is what it is called).
