Default Viper throttle body issues ?

Help ! I'm thinking about installing a Viper throttle body and Mopar cold air intake on my 2013 JK, on a friends recommendation. He knows a few guys who have done this and loved the results. My question is will I have to do any reprograming or is it just a straight forward install and go ?

Did your friends have this on the older 3.8L engine or on the new pentastar 3.6L?
The only viper TB Instals I have read about have been on the 3.8L and utilized a programmer.

Being that there is no programmer for the 3.6L I cannot see this working well.

I have a 12' and checked this too. The 3.8l has 2.5" diameter t.b and the viper t.b diameter is 3" so its a increase in air volume. The 3.6l has 3" t.b diameter already so its pointless. I just put on a c.a.i and a. t.b spacer
