Question Wait for my lift?

I am picking up my Lod bumper, winch and 33's tomorrow. My lift is delayed by three weeks (parts not available).

The question is: IF I put everything on without the lift will I see too much front rake. I have a Rubi Unlimited. Should I wait or just set it up now.

Anybody do this setup without a lift? Any pix?

personally I wold build the jK.. maybe do the tires first, drive it around, make sure they are well balanced etc. then install the bumper and winch when the lift is closer, then finish it off, that way is somethings wrong youll easier know what caused it

I’m waiting for my lift too.

I already installed my LoD bumper and winch and lost about 3/4" in the front. It does have a more pronounced rake in the front now, but I wanted to get the front set before I put on my lift.

Here's a pic of my unlimited with 33's and before the RE BB. I don't know what kind of lift you're getting, but the RE BB has a 2-1/2" spacer for the front and 1-3/4" for the rear to help take out the rake. I didn't have much of a rake to begin with, but I'm sure with a bumper and winch it would be very noticable.

Any chance you have a picture to post; especially a side shot.

x2 It would give a good comparison to mine-before bumper and winch and yours-after bumper and winch.

flyer415, Denny2565 - Sorry, I don’t have any current pictures. Right now it’s parked in my garage and blocked in - can’t get a good shot. If you aren’t in a hurry I will be taking it out this weekend, so I can get a good "after" side shot (I do have a before shot) of it for you later.

I saw about 3/4" to 1" of forward rake when I put a Shrockworks midwidth front bumper, skid plate and Warn winch with steal cable on the front. The rake was not that noticeable right after I installed the bumper and winch, it took about a month or so for the front suspension to settle and now the front rake is pronounced. OME lift is going on as soon as the adj track bars that I ordered come in.

Good luck.

Joe002 - Did you take measurements before and after? Also how much does the bumper/winch weigh? And last question, about how much does the stock bumper weigh? Just would like to know the actual weight gain on the front.
Thanks
