To wait or not to wait
Man this sucks. When I purchased my 012 Sahara JKU 3 weeks ago. I was told that so long as I purchase a lift by Mopar or Teraflex my warranty will still be valid but I have to bring it to their dealership. At the time I was happy to know I was going to be able to lift my Jeep. So I've been shopping around realizing these are expensive lifts not to mention the install. So just for kicks I thought I would call the aftermarket Rep at the dealership and get a quote. Wow they are smoking the good stuff. 3500 for a 2.5" Teraflex installed a 2.5"Teraflex" WTF" are they thinking. Not only that but I have to go with Mopar lift to keep my warranty valid and thats even more expensive. So now I'm bummed out wondering should I just go ahead and get any lift since my warranty will be void or drive the hell out of it and go for 30,000 miles. Oh by the way I got the speech about the only thing the lift will void would be the suspension parts of the jeep. I should have got that on record. But we all know what really happens
Find a dealer that is 'lift friendly'. Call the service department and ask them. They will tell you... if they are not go to another dearship.
Your warranty should not be voided unless, for example, you shred your gears as a result of the lift and tires... that's on you. If your power window fails that should be covered... since it has nothing to do with your lift.
BTW... I lifted mine on the driveway (2.5" TF Coil Lift with 35's) with 3K miles and don't regret it one bit... my dealer is 'lift friendy'.

I just bought a 2012 jkur and had my dealer put on the Teraflex/Mopar 3" lift with new 35" tires and custom wheels. Traded the original
wheels and cost me $4200. Tires were GY MTR/K and American Outlaw wheels. Didn't think that was to bad

Also dealer said if I go bigger than 2.5" lift my warranty will be void I guess because of the obvious problems I may encounter. My problem is I really want to run 35's but I think they look too stuffed under the jeep with the 2.5" lift and it sounds like I'll definitely be voiding my warranty because of the gussets and front drive shaft change. Is there anything else I'll need to change for the bigger lift I've got 3:73 auto 3.6 gears is a maybe and can be put off
