Default Want 5 Extra HP for Free?

Rip off your muffler... I did.

I have been planning out a mid mount / High clearance and wanted to get an idea on tone and loudness so I could work out what muffler(s) to grab. I ran it on the dyno before hand (with muffler) and put down 228 - 229 consistently. With the muffler removed I put down 234 twice and 236 once. No tuning between as this was purely a noise test. I DO NOT recommend removing your muffler for 5 hp.

For those wondering its a 2014 3.6L JKU 6MT with 3.73s and 35" tires.

Once the mid pipe is built and installed I will be creating a custom tune for this and will let you know what kind of #s it makes.

Pretty good WHP numbers overall. But yeah, I'll keep my muffler for the 5hp

Well the before graph starts at 1k rpm where the after starts at about 1.25k and the two torque lines stay pretty close the whole time so I am guessing there is not much of a drop off.
