Default Want to upgrade a Pro Comp 2.5" coil lift with track bar brackets

OK here's the deal I'm not going to buy a whole new lift right now. What I want to do is upgrade slowly. I'm thinking old man emu, with currie arms etc. I have the adjustable mx-6 shocks I don't like them, they limit articulation and the shock adjustment appears to be gone. I'm thinking long travel shocks with teraflex coil retainers for the rear as a start. I also like the evo rock stars. Should I order shorter rear shocks? Then later I would get the ome plus 40 coils and control arms, and jks track bars. So I guess my question is ome long travel shocks or bilsteins? and if I put retainers on my current ProComp springs will the long travel shocks be ok? I already have extended brake lines. The reason I'm thinking about this is in the rocks my ride his HARSH! I,m sure most of it is my springs also, but I would like to do this a bit at a time. Any input would be appreciated. Thanks.

Nobody has any thoughts on this? Where's Planman when you need him?

both the OME and bilsteins are nice shocks and i think you will like either better than what you have now. regarding shock length, just to make sure, you need to be aware that the rock stars will raise your mounting point by a lot and if you get a shock that is too long, you will have issues with them bottoming out. this is something you need to keep in mind more than losing a coil due to too much droop.
