Default Warn Rock Crawler Bumpers

Anybody have any opinions on the Warn Rock Crawler Front and Rear Bumper with Tire carrier? I think they look pretty good but they don't seem too popular with everyone here. I want a nice front bumper that holds foglights and also has a front tubular grill guard.

I did notice that the Warn bumper requires that the winch sit on top of the bumper. It looks cleaner when it is integrated but I am not sure what other drawbacks such a set up would have.

thanks. You guys (and gals) are awesome!

I don't think the WARN rear bumper tire carrier is available yet but the front is a really nice bumper. I ran one for a while and can tell you that it's very well built, looks great and overall, I liked it a lot.

I got a bunch more pics of it in my gallery here:

nice pic. I notice that Warn has a limited lifetime warranty on their bumpers. That's pretty reassuring. Also, Quadratec lists the rear bumper and tire carrier on its website. I have a factory trailer hitch and wasn't sure how that would be affected.

Well, just because a vendor lists something doesn't necessarily mean that it's actually shipping. If they are, I for one would be very surprised. As far as the factory hitch goes, I'm pretty sure that the base of the bumper is notched to allow you to keep using it.

Default Rear Bumper and Tire Carrier

I have the Rear Bumper and Tire Carrier. I received it from 4 Wheel Parts about two weeks ago. It was on Backorder for a month. I'll try to post pics later today. The factory tow hitch works fine with the bumper. There is a cutout for the hitch.

If you order the Bumper that accepts the tire carrier, you have to get the carrier also. The spare will not fit on the factory mount because the bumper does not have a cutout for the tire.

Thanks for the info. How's the latching mechanism? Sturdy? Rattles? I'd love to see pics of it when you got it installed.

Thanks.

Do the factory fogs work with the bumper?

Here are a couple of WARN product shots of the rear bumper tire carrier:

And here is one from the Primedia Gallery on project-jk.com with the factory hitch:

Couple questions.

1) Can you use the factory fogs with the front bumper?

2) How sturdy is the latching mechanism (rattles, etc.)?

Thanks a bunch.
