Default Which warn winch would you pick?

Ok im in the market for a new winch for my jeep. Its a 2012 2 door on 37s i plan on keeping it somewhat light with armor and bumpers i will be running poision spyders bfh line when funds are available. The winches i have in mind are the warn 9.5xp,9.5cti and the m8000. Either way i go i will be running synthetic line to keep weight down. I drive my rig to and from trails i wheel in all kinds of locations rocks, mud, water, hills you name it. I dont find myself needing a winch all the time but when i do it needs to do the job. I think either of these winches would fit my bill pretty nicely. I think the 9.5xp and the cti maybe a little overkill for my 2 door but you never no. So i would like any of you guys with experience with these winches to post up some feedback before i drop my hard earned coin on one thanks.

I've always if it was pickup truck, four wheeler, jeep, or whatever. Fig out weight and multiple by 2
And if you can't obtain the winch in that desired weight have a snatch block to help out!!!
5,000 lb x 2 = 9,500-10,000 lbs winch
Also consider if a fast line speed is important. Cheaper winches might recover at a slower rate!!

Default 9.5cti

I just got the 9.5cti. Pay attention to the line speeds. 9.5cti is good for 62' per min. I also have several freinds that work for Warn, and they recommend the cti, or the xp. My dad also just got his today... he got the 9.5cti with synthetic.

Everything from warn is great. I would probably get a heavy-duty one like 12k because I always wheel with bigger trucks.

Thanks for the feedback man. Winch speed is not important to me I just need something that's going to do the job.

I gotta say I really like that 9.5cti but that price tag is a hard one to swallow. If I pull the trigger on the 9.5cti its going to hold me up on some armor I want but it may be worth the wait.

My friend who has been offroading since the mid 80's has always been a Warn diehard
He bought a Recon 10,500 last year with synth line and has no complains besides being slower than his Warn winches in the past. Check them out not bad winch for the price.

i went through 3 winches in 4 years on my 07 JKU...2 T-Max 10Ks and 1 Superwinch 9.0epi....i decided to go with ANY Warn this time as ive been told they last....so seeing you are going with a warn i guess you cant go wrong....the one thing i noticed that i like alot on mine is the line speed to spool it back up between pulling everyone out...sadley ive only had mine a month and cant add much more than that

I went back and forth......pulling my hair out. I went with the Warn 9.5 cti-s. I just installed it so i have no actual input of it in use yet......good luck with your decision
