Default Warrior Corner Guards..

Any one have em? Do you like em? How hard were they to install? Did they require removal of the tail lights and license plate like the AEV ones do?

Default Warrior Corner Guards

I PM'd a fellow forum member with these questions:

Noticed that you had installed Warrior Corner Guards and was wondering if you could tell me about the fit. Do they conform to the body of the JK well, or are there gaps between the guards and body? Any rust, or other problems? Would you buy them again? Trying to figure out if I should go with the $299 AEVs or the $155 Warriors.

His response:

The Warrior Corner Guards fit great, and I would have no problem buying another set. They fit real good to the body, and I have no water problems or rust. I bought them because of the price and they do the same thing as the AEVs. You can get them smooth, or like mine [tread pattern].

Does it matter? Why is it so hard to just answer the question? And no its not hard, but I find those things never seal right again and get water in them and also if I don't have to go removing a bunch of crap, all the better and that would be an instant sale for me.

But you DON't have to remove the tailight. Just the plate bracket... which by the way, is also NOT SEALED.

Ahh, much better. Thanks for the info.

Am I seeing these things right? Are they more square than rounded? If so...that's not the look I'm going for. I'd prefer them rounded like the body.
