Well, today I'll be attempting to extract what's left of the broken bolt that once held the passenger-side exhaust manifold on. I discovered that it was broken when I needed to remove that manifold because of the crack I recently found. My question is how many others have found this particular bolt broken? I've read other reports and it appears that the forward most bolt on the passenger side seems to break or is found broken way too often. I did not break this off, And the PO was the original owner. I know her personally and know she always took it to the dealership for service. After researching and seeing others who had "found" this bolt broken, I'm starting to think it might be a weak point or stress point. Just reaching out for other opinions. Not that it matters on an 18 year old vehicle. Hopefully it will come out and I won't have to replace the head. If that happens, might just be time for the engine swap. Thanks for all ya'll do, and I hope you have a blessed day!

It IS possible. Patience, patience and more patience. Drill slow and keep the bit cool.

Then I pulled the heat shield and checked the driver's side. Go figure. So I have both manifolds on order as well as the motor mounts....Hopefully this will last a bit. Grateful that I am able to continue this. Hope ya'll have a great day!
