Default Weld-on sliders?

Was planning on making some sliders and just wanted to know if there is a reason why I can't find any that weld on on this forum. The frame looks strong enoungh to weld to. Is it just nobody wants to weld to a new jeep or none of the venders are offering a weld-on kit?

I could always cut them off and grind the frame and repaint for resale reasons.

Because if any part of it ever needs replacing, removing some bolts is easy. Cutting away at welds is not.

If they do it it must be ok. They make some of the parts I would most like to have.

Will you be welding a small like 1/4" plate to the frame first then the tube? Or just tube straight to the frame? And I agree welding is the strongest way to attach them. I have a 2dr so was planning on only 2 tubes going to the frame.

That's what I'm talking about. I was planning on doing it just like that but with a gusset where the tube meets the plate that is welded to the frame. Those welds sure are nice might be tig. No tig here at home so I will be mig welding mine.

I had some that were welded on. The only regret I had was that I didn't put on a 1" body lift first. When I did it there weren't body lifts available yet...
